We stayed in Florence only as a stop on the way to Rome.  The goal was to see the read David sculpture by Michelangelo, Galleria dell’Accademia.  The sculpture scale is quite large and impressive.  We also ate at a restaurant where Liam Neeson once visited which we thought was cool.
