Our first stop in England was Stonehenge. We rented a car and did our best to drive on the wrong side of the street. It was hard but we survived. The two hour drive from London was mostly highway so we wished we would have seen more of the countryside. Stonehenge was a good experience. The offer a nice presentation arriving on the highway. To the naked eye it’s just a bunch of rocks in an open field but upon closer inspection and reading up on the history they turn into a 5,000 year old marvel. We also enjoyed country dining at the at the Yew Tree Inn in Wiltshire, Salisbury.
